Giant Lizard

Lizard, Melaka.

Lots of tourists were roaming around the vicinity of Christ Church Melaka. Not far away, a crowd gathered around this huge lizard.

Apparently someone was making money off the tourists, by offering anyone who would pay a small fee to pose with this... thing sitting on your shoulders.

Sim Sim

Sim Sim, Sandakan East Malaysia.
Sim Sim, floating village, Sandakan, East Malaysia

A floating village where a whole community lives, and works on stilts!

It was amazing - walking down lorongs (jetties), passing houses and residences which stood above the sea, and we had breakfast on a floating market where the freshest fish just caught were brought in by the fishermen in their boats.

Not A Soul In Sight

Sandakan, Sabah, East Malaysia.

Out for breakfast one morning in the city of Sandakan, Northern Borneo. All the shops were closed. It looked like a ghost town.
