Giant Lizard

Lizard, Melaka.

Lots of tourists were roaming around the vicinity of Christ Church Melaka. Not far away, a crowd gathered around this huge lizard. Apparently someone was making money off the tourists, by offering anyone who would pay a small fee to pose with this... thing sitting on your shoulders.

Sim Sim

Sim Sim, Sandakan East Malaysia.

A floating village where a whole community lives, and works on stilts! It was amazing - walking down lorongs (jetties), passing houses and residences which stood above the sea, and we had breakfast on a floating market where the freshest fish just caught were brought in by the fishermen in their boats.

Out for breakfast one morning in the city of Sandakan, Northern Borneo. All the shops were closed. It looked like a ghost town.
