The Cambodians, like the Thais I supposed, like the sweet, sourish sort of foods. And so, our gracious hosts the doctor and his wife ordered this when they invited us out for dinner, and taught us how to eat it. Er... I still prefer the crabs, please.

Bread

We saw a lot of the curling type of bread in Israel. We even saw a couple of men stuffing these bread into the boot of their car. Someone in our group said a loaf like that could feed the whole family for the whole day. I wonder what it tastes like - sweet or saltish or tasteless.

An example of healthy eating: steamed fish instead of artery-clogging chilli crabs, deep-fried shrimps and calamari. However, the fish has to be very fresh, otherwise... yuks!

After our tour of Petra for the whole morning, we went looking for lunch and of course hoped for authentic Jordanian food. However, the buffet we were taken to looked rather unappetizing. Walking down the street, someone in our group found this pizza place and it was settled: let's eat pizza!
